Introduction to the System

Information about the GPS system and the collar

In order for you to receive all the data from your livestock, the GPS Collar is designed to send a signal every 30 minutes. This can be programmed to be more frequent, although this may affect battery life and incur additional costs.

In order to ensure optimal data transmission, it is very important that the device is on the left side of the collar and the counterweight hangs slightly at the base of the collar.

Furthermore, to ensure efficient operation of the system, it is recommended to use the collar in extensive and/or semi-extensive farming environments. This provides optimal coverage and constant connectivity with the animals, no matter how far away you are.

The versatility of the system allows you to access data anytime, anywhere, as long as the animals are outdoors and not confined indoors. This GPS system ensures continuous and accurate monitoring of livestock, making it easy to make informed decisions to optimise their care and welfare.
