Collar installation
1. Attach the strap
The collar has two slots for the strap.
First, insert the strap through the upper slot of the collar, marked with two arrows, always from the inner side, which contains the temperature sensor and the battery cover.
Then, pass the strap through the lower slot, covering the outer, oval-shaped side of the collar.
2. Buckle and Counterweight
Once the strap is threaded through the collar slots, it’s time to attach the buckle and counterweight to the strap.
Pass the end of the strap through the buckle, then through the counterweight, and back through the buckle again.
Make sure the counterweight is securely fixed to confirm that it has been installed correctly.
3. Ready to Attach
Do a final check to ensure everything is in the correct position, and the collar will be ready to place on your animal.
It’s very important that the collar sits on the left side of the neck and that the counterweight hangs slightly at the base.
Finally, secure the strap through the double buckle, making sure the end faces outward for the animal’s comfort.
